Position Overview:
Food and Land Use Coalition India country platform is working with a food system approach to develop strategies to support the country to attain nutrition security with sustainable, regenerative and inclusive agriculture production, efficient supply system and developing responsible citizenry. As its activities are expanding both in thematic and geographic terms FOLU India is looking for a Programme Associate who can support secondary research, support the FOLU India lead and FOLU India coordinator in management of FOLU India platform etc. The candidate must have a post graduate degree in environmental science, natural resource management, development studies, or other related field with at least 3 years or more years of work experience, at least 3 of which is in a project coordination role.
Key responsibilities will include support the coordination of FOLU India activities, and reporting, developing research and analytical frameworks for programmes, facilitating engagement with partners and stakeholders at national and sub-national levels, research driven communication, and supporting overall programme development and strategy. The candidate is expected to bring strong organizational skills and be comfortable with interdisciplinary, inter-programmatic, and geographically dispersed teams. The position holder must be willing to travel within the country, including in remote areas with difficult terrain, when it’s safe to do so.
Responsibilities:
•    Working closely with FOLU India partners to source information and package content for two of the FOLU India websites (currently under development), together with the communication team
•    Responsible for writing good quality content – project descriptions, knowledge product briefs, event briefs, etc for the websites
•    Optimise new and existing content for search engines using keywords, meta tags and other SEO techniques
•    Collaborating with other teams like designers and developers to align content with the organisation’s brand
•    Create and execute a content calendar for the website in close collaboration with FOLU India Communication team to ensure regular content updates on the website
•    Measure the content’s success by tracking KPIs like website traffic and conversions; create quarterly reports and present to the FOLU India team
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Graduate with proven experience in content creation and curation.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with an emphasis on clarity and creativity.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with SEO tools.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS).
  • Knowledge about Google Analytics
  • Ability to manage and execute a content calendar effectively.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data.
  • Understanding of brand consistency in content creation.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or domain is a plus.
